About the Author Dr Lawrence Ng

Dr Lawrence CL Ng is a multi-faceted individual with a diverse range of interests. He is usually happiest practicing medicine in his own solo Family Medicine Clinic in the east of Singapore. He believes in being an agent for positive change in the world, and helping people "look good on the outside, feel good on the inside and function above their limits in the mental, physical and spiritual ways”. He reads widely, thinks deeply, and writes prose and poems on his Facebook page, which has a small following. He travels extensively for leisure and for medical missions, dedicating four weeks a year for the latter in rural villages in Cambodia and in the mountains in Myanmar. He sings whenever he can, be it in a shower or in a church choir, and creates short movies in his spare time, which he uploads to YouTube.
