An interval of distance or time between two points, objects or events.
Sometimes, we get too close to ourselves to see things clearly.
When we are too inward-focused, we lose touch of the true expanse of our consciousness. Small issues become crises. We sweat the small stuff. Tensions build. And we limit our possibilities.
We become like a tightly wound mainspring of a delicate mechanical timepiece, powering through the moments and slowly unravelling until we are completely spent.
It is at that point, when the ribbon finally uncoils, that we return to our true form.
The wheels stop turning. The hands stand still. And it is in the space between the hours and the minutes and the seconds…
… that we find ourselves again.
